๐Ÿ‘‹ Happy Thursday, Ladies and Gents,

We appreciate your patience as we got this weekโ€™s episode out. It ended up being one of those weeks where nothing went right. We ran into audio-video snags while recording and had to re-record a handful of times, and the sound is still off. Itโ€™s a learning process, but since itโ€™s 80%, we had to ship it.

Episode 2 of The Couples Lab is live!

A new episode will land in your inbox every Tuesday. Along with it, we'll share a few things we're using, watching, and talking about that week. Here's what we have for you today.

Where weโ€™d love to go

I first heard about Long Lane from Fitt Insider, and have since been following their progress. Itโ€™s an elite wellness hotel and membersโ€™ club that Louie Blake and Harrison Hide are building in West Sussex, England. I love everything that they stand for, with health and nervous system resets as the foundation. What they are building is remarkable not just for hospitality in general, but also for the wellness space in England. One day, I would love for us to stay here. What a dream!

They arenโ€™t sparing on amenities: non-toxic materials, air-purified rooms, Eight Sleep mattresses, spa-like bathrooms, and food grown on their own farm and sourced locally using fresh, whole ingredients. They are creating a holistic space where one can come to downshift and completely relax. You can join their waitlist here.

What weโ€™re listening to

We are vibing with Amii and Jimmi, the DJ duo behind Flavour Trip, for some feel-good jazzy house music. They mix tracks and make something yummy, whether itโ€™s in the forest or on a rooftop.

Enjoy their music on YouTube or Spotify.

What we are using

Clean products are always on our radar. Especially when it comes to our body. Little Seed Farm has been a go-to staple in our hygiene routine for the last couple of years. Their deodorant is 100% natural and uses certified organic ingredients. Now, before you tell me, Iโ€™ve used natural deodorants before, and they donโ€™t work. I know. But, I promise this one does. You wonโ€™t be disappointed. Try our favorite: Activated Charcoal

What weโ€™re talking about

โ€œYouโ€™re allowed to start over. (As many times as it takes.)โ€ Sahil Bloom

We love this post, and there isnโ€™t anything wrong with it except that Sahil wrote this version for one person. Personal growth in a relationship should not stop. But what happens when your spouse feels like they are losing you, or your focus begins to crowd out your relationship? Couples can begin to grow apart when growth isnโ€™t shared. There is good news, though. On days when people grow, their passion for their partner grows with it. So, make your growth something you talk about and build together.

Thatโ€™s it! Have a wonderful rest of your week.
